Trekking after Lewis & Clark, discovering the cowboy artist, casting a line along the Missouri River, grabbing a microbrew, veering into the Milky Way -Central Montana’s best kept secret is that you can have it all.
As the literal centerpiece of Montana exploration and spread across a storied landscape and 86 communities, adventure looms larger, history reaches further, culture runs deeper, and each moment is better than the last. Rooted in unfiltered experiences is a real Montana with less standing in line and more standing in awe.

Central Montana is looking for Destination Organizations, Chambers of Commerce, Counties, Towns, and other community representatives to collaborate in promoting their areas through targeted Meta ad campaigns. Partner organizations can choose between two contribution options, with every dollar matched by Central Montana, effectively doubling the reach and impact of the campaign. This initiative ensures a powerful and cost-effective way to promote local communities to wider audiences.
Placement
Two placement options:
- $1,000 contribution, matched, equaling $2,000. Ads will target regions within Montana, outside of the applicant’s footprint.
- $2,500 contribution, matched, equaling $5,000. Ads will target Montana and select drive markets outside of the state.
Meta Ad Design
Central Montana’s Advertising Agency—The Wendt Agency—will oversee ad design and provide creative options tailored to your contribution. Meta ads designed foryour community are visually engaging, featuring high-quality images or videos that showcase your area. The ads include concise, compelling messaging with a strong call to action, encouraging users to explore your community and learn more about its offerings. To further enhance effectiveness, the ads incorporate design variations to prevent viewer fatigue and sustain high levels of engagement. Creative elements may include existing community videos for enhanced engagement (if applicable).
Billing
The Wendt Agency will invoice Central Montana Tourism for the total campaign cost, after which Central Montana Tourism will bill participating communities for 50% of the expense. Ad design costs will vary based on the level of participation. The remaining budget will be directed towards ad placement
Reporting
Communities will provide traffic data, including insights to website visits, event page engagement, and other relevant pages.
