Purpose
Central Montana – where wide-open spaces meet unforgettable experiences. Whether it’s immersive history, outdoor adventure, or small-town charm, every visitor discovers a uniquely authentic Montana journey. This stipend program helps partners bring our story to life by distributing our official Travel Planners at travel industry shows and collecting potential visitor leads.
Program Overview
Central Montana Tourism is offering up to a $500 stipend to eligible travel industry partners who:
- Attend an approved trade show.
- Display and distribute the Central Montana Travel Planner (provided by Central Montana Tourism)
- Collect names and email addresses from booth visitors.
- Provide this attendee information to Central Montana for our marketing outreach.
Eligibility
Entities in good standing—such as lodging providers, tour operators, attractions, chambers, or tourism-related events—are welcome to apply. The trade show and organization must be approved by Central Montana Tourism.
Submission and Timeline
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and must be submitted 60 days before the show.
Funding Details
- Stipend: Up to $500, issued in a single payment.
- Payment occurs after submission of:
- Collected attendee list (names and emails) within 10 business days post-show.
Guidelines & Requirements
- Display: Must prominently feature the Central Montana Travel Planner at your booth (Travel Planners will be provided by Central Montana).
- Lead Capture: Collect attendee names and email addresses
- Reporting: Submit attendee list within 10 business days post-show.• Branding: Your booth and the trade show attended must align with Central Montana’s brand voice—bold, modern, inviting, accessible, simple, aspirational, and lively.
- Collaborative Promotion: We may request additional promotional opportunities, such as including a welcome message, signage acknowledgment, or a mention in program materials.
Impact & Oversight
Compliance ensures continued program eligibility. Failure to submit required materials or follow brand/usage guidelines may affect future stipend approval.
